Introduced in 2003 as a revolutionary product, the Honda Pilot has won over the hearts and minds of many for the last 15 years. Completely redesigned for 2016 with more space, efficiency and luxury than ever before, 2017 enters with just mild a few tweaks to improve on this already great vehicle.

Powered by a 3.5l direct injected V-TEC V6 engine pushing 280hp 262 lb-ft of torque you can choose either front or all wheel drive, more on that later. Depending on which trim level acquired a 6 or 9 speed automatic will be fitted to your Pilot helping improve fuel economy and capabilities.

The interior in one word can be described as spacious. High quality materials abound with excellent build quality ensuring years of trouble free family hauling. This is the case regardless of trim level, which can go from sensible to opulent. Stereos range from mild to wild, the roof can be mostly glass and the seats can be heated in up to two rows.

On the safety front Honda has you and your family covered - quite literally. With front, front side and full curtain airbags all the occupants are coddled no matter where they sit. That's assuming that the multitude of standard and available driver safety aids can't divert you from a sticky situation.

As for that AWD system. Honda put much work into research and development on this system to ensure that the Terrain Management System was more than just an electronic gimmick. With testing done in California, U.S.A, Moscow, Russia and Dubai, U.A.E. Honda wanted to ensure that if you engage Snow, Mud or Sand mode - it actually did what you were banking on, improving your control in those conditions.

All in all the Pilot really has it all together. With top class driving dynamics, plenty of room for up to 8 passengers and their cargo and legendary Honda quality all wrapped into one family friendly package there's no reason not to love the Pilot.
