A major fire broke out after a gas cylinder exploded at a snack shop in Bantala Chhak under Angul district of Odisha. According to reports, the cylinder blast suddenly triggered flames that engulfed the shop, creating panic in the area. Firefighters rushed to the spot and launched an operation to douse the blaze. Efforts by the fire services are still underway to bring the fire under control. The incident occurred at a Jalakhiya (snack) shop, where the cylinder explosion caused significant damage and raised safety concerns among locals.
