As of December 2025, there have been a few gray market efforts to recreate or obtain PP405, a new stem-cell focused topical hair regrowth compound being developed by Pelage Pharmaceuticals. Here I summarize each of these efforts so far; JXL069, JXL082, PP30, and "3hp" have been identified as mitochondrial pyruvate carrier (MPC) inhibitors of particular interest. All information is for educational purposes.
