How to add extra counter space to a tiny kitchen I DIY Pop out counter top for extra bench space

Описание: The kitchen in my 12sqm Micro Studio was just 100cm wide (including the sink) which meant only 60cm of usable bench top space for appliances / cooking / food prep etc. I desperately needed more counter space (without covering the sink), so I came up with this simple IKEA hack, which took my tiny kitchenette from maddening, to manageable!

**They have since added a video showing you how to install them which is VERY useful!

Rather than attempt to cut the counter top to size myself, I brought it to my local friendly timber yard and they cut it for me for me for $11 ($6 per cut).

The only tools I used were a pen/pencil, screw driver and spirit level! So nothing fancy!!

You just need a little patience and as the saying goes "Measure twice, cut once" (actually - measure more than twice - especially if you're anything like me!!)
