Описание: Kim Namjoon (김남준), better known by his stage name RM (formerly Rap Monster), is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, producer, and composer under Big Hit Entertainment and HYBE Labels. He is most famous as the leader and main rapper of the globally renowned boy band BTS.

Born on September 12, 1994 in Goyang as Kim Nam-Joon, RM developed an early passion for poetry and hip-hop, which eventually led him to write his own lyrics and create music. He pursued his love for music by becoming an underground rapper and auditioning for multiple entertainment companies. After being recommended by South Korean hip-hop artist Sleepy, RM secured a spot at Big Hit Entertainment, where he later debuted as BTS’s leader.

Thanks to his relentless dedication and passion, RM, alongside his bandmates, became one of the most influential and in-demand artists of their time, gaining international fame beyond South Korea.

In 2015, RM released his first solo mixtape, "RM," and in 2017, he officially changed his stage name from Rap Monster to RM. He explained that the new name could represent a variety of meanings, including "Real Me."
