I thought this song was perfect for Kristina's abuse storyline and thought the lyrics fit well with bringing in Sam's difficulties in dealing with what happened to her sister because of her experience with abuse. The beginning and end are mostly about Kristina's abuse and her family helping her through it. The middle is Sam helping Kristinia and about her past abuse being why she can identify with what K is going through.
