Brimham Rocks ¦ North Yorkshire ¦ Exploration around the wonderful geologic features

Описание: Brimham Rocks are a few miles east of Pateley Bridge in the North Yorkshire area of England. The rocks are high up on the uplands above the Nidd Valley and form an impressive location to wander around and explore. My wife and I had a very happy few hours looking at and admiring the weird and wonderful shapes of the various rocky lumps, partly hidden and otherwise standing clear of the light woodland area around.

The whole area is magically picturesque and I would highly recommend a visit. The ice cream was a treat to start off with too. On the afternoon of our visit, the main car park was full so we had to go along the road to the overflow field which was free to use.

I’m not a pro, expert or any kind of leader on the mountains. I step out for fun and my own personal enjoyment. What I do is at my own risk.
