Enjoy an hour of homemade ambience alongside this beautiful painting. This channel uses great artworks of the past along with my own homemade ambience mixes to create atmospheres with some energy for you to enjoy. I create all of the sound in Ableton Live using Vital. The mixes should get a bit better as we go, but the artworks will always be amazing. Subscribe for more videos, coming soon!

I aim to create all of the videos at 1080p as this is typically a high enough resolution to enjoy the painting without using unnecessary streaming bandwidth. It also reduces the resources when uploading to YouTube, fyi for the environmentally concerned or bandwidth challenged viewers.

I haven't been making these ambient mixes for long but I have played music for a long time. I try to use chord patterns that will evoke the most harmonics with the least amount of listener fatigue possible. I want this to be easy for your ears to hear for a long time, so you can relax and feel immersed. I use repetitive patterns that modulate and interact with the sounds around it differently each time the pattern passes. I hope this will be calming for you, to hear the same pattern repeated, but a little bit different each time. I use Vital, a virtual instrument to create all of the sounds, I try to keep everything simple and create mixes that feel pleasant but not overworked. I use some modulation effects but not too many, if you have any questions about the sound design, leave me a comment and I will get back to you.
