I had been noticing after around 2 hours of playing I'd start to get screen tearing in the headset that seemed to get worse and worse as I continued to play. I have a not-so-good monitor with a 60hz refresh rate so I had been capping my in-game frame rate at 60 frames. But my Valve Index headset was refreshing at 90hz. I believe this was causing the refresh rate timing to get further and further off the longer I played. So, not only have I changed the settings so the in game frame rate matches my VR headset refresh rate, but I increased it all to 120 frames and 120hz. After a quick test, it felt very smooth. I'm hoping my GPU can handle it all while streaming!
