Описание: In this episode, I discuss the Cantillon Effect and how it is an indicator of how the taxpayer is getting screwed over so the world's richest people can have more money.

Republican Thomas W. Timbrooks for U.S. House of Representatives Oregon District 6

I am running for the U.S. House of Representatives, Oregon District 6, as a Conservative Republican because I believe I can bring prosperity to our district through restoration of the free market by taking away the high cost of doing business here in order to create the kind of environment that entrepreneurs find beneficial.

Freedom
The first amendment to the constitution states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Personal pronouns – Your freedom of speech is being taken away from you one personal pronoun at a time. Kids in school are being punished for not respecting personal pronouns. Citizens of the United States can lose their jobs for not respecting personal pronouns.

Social media – Your right to freedom of the press is being taken away by the whims of social media. If social media platforms are going to act as a way for people to communicate ideas, then they have to be put under the same scrutiny as any news outlet.

Prosperity – I am committed to eliminating socialism’s influence. Government control of the free market is the same thing as government ownership of the means of production. It’s just socialism with a different label.

Today, too many elected officials approach government as a platform for personal agendas rather than as a responsibility to the collective good. Too many treat the Constitution as a document they have heard of, not one they have studied or understand. And far too many believe that being loudly against something counts as a policy in itself. Opposition without construction is not leadership. Resistance without solutions is not governance.

I see a place for myself in government because I believe that public office must return to the purpose laid out in the Constitution: shaping national policy and directing public funds toward projects that benefit the common good. These responsibilities require discipline, craftsmanship, and clarity of purpose. They require representatives who approach government with the same rigor that an engineer brings to a complex system.

My background in manufacturing has shaped the way I think. Manufacturing is about understanding systems, identifying problems, and improving performance through better tools, better processes, and better education. Manufacturing requires precision, accountability, and measurable results. Government should be no different.

I believe I can help Oregon’s 6th Congressional District become one of the greatest districts in the United States by applying the lessons I have learned across decades of engineering, process improvement, and strategic thinking. My approach is simple:

• I will concentrate on the responsibilities clearly outlined in Article I of the Constitution.
Congress was designed to legislate, budget, and oversee—not to posture, perform, or pursue personal crusades. My work will remain focused on these constitutional duties.

• I will use new technologies to create cooperative networks, stimulate economic growth, and develop new markets. Innovation drives prosperity. Oregon’s future requires leaders who understand technological change and know how to harness it.

• I will increase taxable revenue by increasing the number of wealthy people—not by increasing the burden on those who are already successful. Strong districts prosper by generating opportunity, not by punishing achievement.

• I will improve existing technologies and industries through better tools, better training, and better environments. This is the foundation of manufacturing excellence, and it is equally the foundation of economic revitalization.

• I will evaluate government programs honestly and completely. Programs that work should be expanded or replicated. Programs that fail should be retired so their resources can be redirected toward strategies that actually serve the public.

These commitments form the basis of my vision for public service. They are not slogans or sound bites; they are operating principles grounded in engineering discipline and constitutional responsibility.

Government must work the way the Constitution intended: with integrity, clarity, and efficiency. And representatives must work the way the nation requires: with purpose, humility, and a commitment to results.
