Описание: How to drain the gear oil from your ford 9 inch or ford 8 inch aka 8.8. If the gear assembly is stuck onto the carrier housing, here is a tip on how you can separate the 2 parts to drain the fluid out of there. I tried doing the video as real time as possible without it being too long so that those who are DIY at home can get an idea on how to perform everything and how long it can take. You do have to remove the axles from both sides in order for the gear assembly to be able to come out of the housing in order to drain the fluid. But this one was pretty stuck on there and wouldn't come off so decided to demonstrate with video for those who may experience this as well.
