About TULIP MANIA!:
At first glance the art appears to be painted, but upon closer inspection one realizes it is composed entirely of repurposed fiat currency. This parallels the ease with which “experts” have overlooked Bitcoin - likening it to various historic economic bubbles. Only upon further analysis does one realize there is something much different afoot.
In the background of the work, numerous headlines from years past compare Bitcoin to the 17th century Dutch tulip market bubble. With Bitcoin currently sitting at six figures, this makes for an ironic walk down memory lane. In the foreground, banknotes from countries which have experienced extreme hyperinflation compose the flower.
