he war that had been ongoing for months between the United States and Iran has finally come to an end. U.S. President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday, which came into immediate effect.

According to a U.S. official, President Trump formally signed the hard copy of the US-Iran agreement during a dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Palace of Versailles in France. Copies of the signed agreement have been sent to Iran and the mediating countries.

Earlier, on Sunday, U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Iran’s chief negotiator Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf had signed the MoU electronically. With this agreement, the nearly four-month-long conflict between the two countries has officially come to an end.
