If you’ve ever wondered why ADHD didn’t show up for you the way it was “supposed to,” you’re not alone. Many women live for decades feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or quietly struggling—without ever realizing ADHD is part of the picture.
In this video, I’m breaking down how ADHD actually presents in women and why so many women are missed, misdiagnosed, or dismissed altogether. ADHD in women often doesn’t look like hyperactivity or obvious disruption. Instead, it can show up as over-functioning, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, chronic self-doubt, or feeling like everything takes more effort than it should.
We’ll talk about why traditional diagnostic criteria failed so many girls and women, how masking and people-pleasing play a role, and the emotional cost of holding it all together for years. This isn’t about labeling yourself—it’s about understanding your nervous system, your brain, and your lived experience with more compassion.
If you’ve ever thought, “Why does life feel harder for me even though I look fine on the outside?” this video is for you.
