This set is from Super Champ Combo originally uploaded by ‪@Raikx1‬. The original videos had very desynced audio (like audio from previous sets bad, in a good amount of them.) and I guess they were separated into individual games, but that was the standard thing back then. Fortunately, most transition straight to the next video so they went back together well :)

dumbass editing program i use wouldn't let me output at the original resolution (240p) so just ignore the 480p resolution and no I'm not gonna bother re-encoding it just to make it 240p again

added long freeze frames because sometimes the video would suddenly skip forward while the audio continued as if nothing happened so I just threw in a shit-ton of freeze frames. I'd rather that than just cut it suddenly and "lose" perfectly good audio. Audio does occasionally do effectively the same thing and randomly jump forward a bunch so some parts ended up being silent. didn't bother adding stage music when that happened, it usually wasn't very long iirc

If I remember right, I also ended up slowing down the video a tiny bit (like 99% of the original, so not much) because the audio would ever so slowly desync otherwise

If there was a "substantial" amount of audio that I couldn't get/find I just looked up the stage music and played it over the silent part. I tried to sync the song with the original audio as it cuts out, but I wasn't really that pressed about it being that close. Would not be surprised if I was off by a good bit.

some videos I also made have mono audio since only one channel had any audio

also put the audio through the loudness normalization tool in audacity just because I think it's a bit more pleasant to listen to imo
