The Crypto Report: Ukraine gov't raises $10.2M in crypto, asks crypto exchanges to block Russians

Описание: Ukraine’s government has raised more than $10 million in cryptocurrency donations. Over the weekend, the official Twitter account of the Ukrainian government tweeted "Stand with the people of Ukraine. Now accepting cryptocurrency donations. Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT,” and then posted addresses for two crypto wallets.

Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov is asking crypto exchanges to block the addresses of Russian users. While Russian banks have been blocked from the SWIFT payments messaging network, officials are concerned Russia could use crypto as a work around sanctions.
