Konark sun temple is situated in eastern state of Odisha in puri district. It is built in the middle of 13th century. King Narasimhadeva 1 , the great rulers of Ganga dynasty had built this temple .Konark temple was designed in the form of gorgeously decorated chariot mounted on 24 wheels,each about 10 feet in diameter and drawn by 7 mighty horses .Around the base of temple there are images of animals, foliage ,warriors on horses and other interesting structures.on the wall and roof of temple beautiful sensual figures are curved . Konark sun temple is UNESCO heritage site
