I was lucky enough to capture legendary Sharon Shannon and Sean Smyth playing a few sets in a local pub session in September 2022.
In this video of about 15 minutes of highlights , we join world-renowned accordionist Sharon Shannon and fiddle player Sean Smyth (of Lunasa) for a trad session in Monroe's pub in Galway.
Sharon Shannon is known for her unique style and incredible influence on the Irish folk scene, Sharon brings a masterclass in button accordion to this intimate setting.
Sean Smyth is best known for his work with the internationally acclaimed group Lúnasa. Sean’s playing is a masterclass in rhythm and ornamentation—a true treat for any fan of the Irish fiddle.
