Описание: About Fibritimer Zeta - 1
The FibriTimer Zeta-1 is a Semi-Auto hemostasis analyzer used for the determination of clotting tests such as prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT), fibrinogen (FIB), Lupus. factor assays, d-dimer, and other coagulation tests. The device incorporates both Optical and Mechanical detections on a single platform and the user has a choice to select the measuring method before carrying out the test. The device uses a single disposable cuvette to perform tests under both detection methods. When used with the suitable reagents and method, the sample can be citrated plasma, control/calibrator or even whole blood.

Introducing the patented dual technology, the fibritimer zeta - 1 offers accurate and quick results under coagulation. It has a user-friendly capacitive touchscreen interface and a built-in power backup, ensuring reliable performance even during power outages. The Zeta-1 is backed by small consumables packs to minimize wastage and reduce operational costs, making it a cost-effective and efficient solution for both rural and urban healthcare settings.

The default testing mode is Optical and we suggest the user to use this as a preferred method for testing. Use the alternate mode of Mechanical testing for double check or cross validate a sample result or to run a sample that is classified as difficult (Whole Blood, Severely Lipemic, Turbid, Hazy or Hemolyzed sample).

The Zeta - 1 is well tested for its performance. Various studies both inhouse and external have been carried out to assess the device correlation and precision outcomes. In one of the studies that was carried out at Manipal Hospital which is a 600 bedded technologically advanced infrastructure hospital situated in the heart of Bangalore where the performance of Zeta - 1 was compared with the renowned automated hemostasis system the correlation (r2) values for PT INR was 0.98 and for APTT ratio was 0.82 respectively. This study along with another one that was conducted in a similar setting at trustwell hospitals, bangalore was published in the international journal of health technology and innovation in the August 2024 issue.

The fibritimer zeta 1 is ISO 13485 2016 certified and CDSCO licensed product with IEC clearance. It was commercially launched in India during May 2024.
