Canada will pause an anti-tariff advertisement campaign in the U.S., after it prompted U.S. President Donald Trump to terminate trade talks. The ad, sponsored by the Ontario government, quotes former U.S. President Ronald Reagan saying tariffs cause trade wars and economic disasters. Ontario Premier Doug Ford said it will still run over the weekend on U.S. networks, including during the Major League Baseball World Series, but will be paused on Monday so that trade talks can resume.
