decided to try out a different spot instead of my usual and venture out a little. i was a little more reserved on my surfing and more trying to learn the break/wave better and get comfortable. some of the guys out were really good. there was a much tighter takeoff area than im used to. at first i was a little bummed at the end of my session feeling like i didnt do very well (i was imagining i was gonna be shreddin out there before i paddled out haha) but thought of all the other breaks i surfed for the 1st time and realized i actually did pretty good when comparing to those instances. either way i had a great time out there and managed to get close to 4 hours in the water before my arms were dead. water temp was probably like 47°F and i think air temp was in the low 50s.
