It’s a bit late, but here’s the 2025 Lantern Rite!

This year’s quest is a roller coaster of emotions — I can’t believe they really tried to sacrifice our 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. First, it was Xiao’s tragic story, and now this!

As sad as this Lantern Rite may be, I’m glad we get to see a different side of Hu Tao. She really showed a variety of emotions, and it was quite sad to see her doing so many things for ‘the last time’ in case she really had to die, all while trying to hide it behind her cheerful persona.

Her dedication as the Director really shone through, and even though I’m not a Hu Tao main, I’ve grown to respect her. I’m not great at dodging, so it’s quite stressful to main her, but regardless, Hu Tao can deal some serious damage.

All in all, the 2025 Lantern Rite was an emotional journey, and I can’t wait to see how the story continues to unfold. It’s moments like these that make Genshin so special. Until next time, take care, and I’ll see you in the next video!
