For three days, I explored the wetlands of Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur — one of India’s most important bird sanctuaries — to document its wildlife, behavior, and ecological stories for a photography competition.
This documentary captures intimate and rare moments from the park, including:
• Painted stork breeding colonies
• Black-necked stork parental feeding behavior
• Sarus crane courtship dance
• Spoonbill and ibis preening rituals
• Egret hunting sequences
• Jackal movement within the wetland ecosystem
• Fruit bats and nocturnal owl encounters
• Migratory bird flocks in flight
• Calm wetland landscapes and reflections
Rather than focusing only on species portraits, this film tells a broader story — of migration, survival, biodiversity, and the fragile balance that sustains wetland ecosystems like Bharatpur.
