This talk examines how data-driven systems infer psychological traits from everyday digital behaviors such as attention patterns, engagement, and decision signals. Drawing from data science and cognitive psychology, it explains how predictive algorithms influence perception, emotion, and choice. The talk emphasizes self-awareness as a critical cognitive skill for maintaining human agency in an algorithmically mediated world.
I was inspired by observing how everyday digital behaviors are quietly analyzed to shape our decisions and self-perception. Working at the intersection of data science and psychology made me realize that the real challenge is not technology, but our lack of awareness of its influence. This title reflects my intent to make the invisible impact of data visible and restore human agency in a data-driven world.
