Recognizing the early signs and acting on them gives children with autism the best possible chance to develop vital social, cognitive, and communication skills. Early intervention isn’t just recommended—it’s transformative. Even taking that step to consult a healthcare provider can open the door to supportive therapies that truly change trajectories for children and their families.
While early intervention can unlock profound developmental gains, many Filipino families face a dual challenge of limited access and high costs. The scale and reach of available services remain far from adequate especially for lower-income families.
