Penni Jo Guthrie, 65, was one of three people who died after an EF-3 tornado tore through Union City on Friday.
News Channel 3 spoke with Ryan Palmerton, Guthrie's nephew, who said he and his family are heartbroken and still in shock.
Palmerton lives across the lake from Guthrie. He watched as the tornado was hitting over the top of her home.
"I called her to see if she was ok and she didn't pick up," Palmerton said.
