Описание: Homeostasis is the process by which the body maintains a stable internal environment despite changes in the external surroundings. One important example of homeostasis is thermoregulation, which helps keep the body temperature around 37°C. The hypothalamus in the brain acts as the control center, detecting changes in body temperature and sending signals to restore balance. When the body becomes too hot, it cools down through sweating and vasodilation (widening of blood vessels), while in cold conditions, it conserves heat through shivering and vasoconstriction (narrowing of blood vessels). These automatic adjustments ensure that body functions continue efficiently and that cells operate in optimal conditions.
