We came to Hawaii to reach my goal of 50 states in 1 year and our week adventuring has shown us just how beautiful the 50th state is!

Today is our big adventure day. We rented kayaks for just $60 and have the whole day to scuba dive the Captain Cook Monument. The Captain Cook Monument is only accesable by boat. There were only a few other kayaks and private boats while we were there. I have to say getting in and out of the kayak in open water was just as interesting 😅

We ended the night at dinner in Kona watching the sun set and of course shave ice!

Kayak Rental- Bay Side Adventures- Equipment only, no training or tour guides.

Food: Coffee Shack- Great full sit down or to go breakfast option.
Poke- Honaunau Poke Shop- Laid back poke that was so good. Great place to try it!
Sunset Dinner- Fosters Kitchen- great place for a drink and appetizer, not the best dinner, but they do have small plates (like the steak) under $20
