Was Dark Souls 3 Better ?

Elden Ring got patched a few weeks ago improving significantly the experience user by adding : _invasion wide world search aka WEX DUST_nerfing bloodhound step and river of bloodAnd Dark Souls 3 servers just came back to live on PC. They have never been shut down in console but on PC there was a way for hacker to destroy your computer and take all of your private information, bank informations etc by accessing to your system through invading you in Dark Souls 3. I know crazy right. So now the choice can be made for some people to forever leave Elden Ring for Dark Souls 3 !But was Dark Souls 3 really the better game ?
I received a comment by Basil saying :
I left elden ring pvp because of the awful balance, I didn’t play the new update is that enough for balance or will you recommend me to go back to ds3?

Well lets quickly talk about the current state of Elden Ring PVP. I believe patch 1.06 addressed a lot of the glaring issues that the game had : _invincibility with bloodhound step_blood build up and unescapable vortex by river of blood _lack of activity on invasion and coop with the game being too bigAnd the game is already so much more fun, I had giving up on Elden Ring to be honest with you. But this update has shown me 1 MAJOR thing.The devs care about the game and they care about balancing it ! This is bringing something that left the Elden Ring Papers : HOPE Is it taking a lot more time than necessary ? I would say yes, for example blood hound step should’ve been nerfed a looooooong time ago, and WEX DUST should have been in the game from release. Now you can find invasion anywhere at any level range, and you can also be invaded anywhere at any level range. No more do you need to really care about what weapon upgrade and level you have depending on a specific area and have a character stuck to be invading this specific area. However yes, there are still a lot of balancing issues with the game : _shields : they have too much stability they are unbreakable unless you use Royal Knight Resolve, or a weapon that chips through shield like th eVulga Militia Shotel. _status effect like madness, bleed and sleep are a huge problem, especially since they do broke even when you dodge. This “bug” is still there since dark souls 3_the stunk lock last for too long, sometimes getting hit once means dying because you will get chain stunk lock to death
