On Wednesday (July 09, 2025) afternoon, miscreants vandalized the Nandi and Ganesha idols at the Shiva temple in Kaiser Nagar, Gajularamaram of Hyderabad. They also burned the cloth on the Nandi idol, threw matchsticks into the hundi (donation box), and broke the temple bells. Upon hearing the news, a large number of local devotees and Hindu community members gathered at the scene. They demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible for the attack on the temple. They also urged the authorities to take measures to prevent such incidents from recurring in the area and to protect Hindu sentiments. In protest of the attack, Hindu Vahini organized a peaceful rally from the Hanuman Temple in Kaiser Nagar to the Shiva Temple. The rally saw participation from Hindus, devotees, and leaders of various Hindu organizations. Following the incident, Suraram police assured the public that they would apprehend the culprits very soon.
