Crazy Things I See Trucking 2

Описание: This is an ongoing series of interesting jobs, accidents, driving and other sights I see in my very unique trucking job.

I drive 5 different types of trucks so I don't get stuck doing the same thing day after day. They are vans (which is probably what you think of when someone says tractor trailer), tankers, vacuum trucks, box trucks and dump trucks.

We transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste. I pick up everything from asbestos, mercury, gasoline, acids, PCBs to soil, paint and just about anything else you can imagine. We also perform a variety of environmental jobs for customers, clean up spills and collect and haul hazardous waste to other states.

There is a physical aspect to my job which includes sucking out tanks, picking up drums and other things. One cool thing I did was working on the set of A Quiet Place 2. We recently cleaned out a tanker train car and I got to check out an old jet while we were picking up jet fuel.

We cover all of New York except the city, most of Pennsylvania, much of Ohio, a little bit of West Virginia and a number of places in Michigan.

I see many interesting places and things but never have the opportunity to check them out. I take nice long country drives, travel through many small towns (it's amazing how they look so similar) and of course see more than my share of reckless drivers and accidents.

There are many things I can't share but a lot of things that I can. Come, take a ride with me and get an idea of what it's like!
