(90s pop) Lost In Love (Original Mix) - Deep Obsession

Описание: We had been recording together for about a year over 1997-98, making demos of original songs.

One day, a backing track I’d put together had a chorus section that reminded me of “Lost In Love”, a beloved track of one of my favourite groups, Air Supply.

We decided to try doing our own version, and were pleased with how the demo turned out so gift-wrapped it and sent it to the ZM radio network with a hand-written card. It ended up on the playlist and was taking off around the country before anyone even knew who we were.

We signed with Universal Music and headed to a big studio to remix the demo for release with producer Malcolm Welsford (who usually worked with rock bands!), and this is the version here. It’s fairly true to the demo.

It was our first #1 single in NZ, stayed on the charts for 3 months and was certified gold.
