Of particular interest are architectural novelties like the "Hawa Mahal" - Palace of the Winds - studded with myriad balconies, idols in Meera temple and the "Jantar Mantar" observatory, built in the early 18th century,by Maharaja Jail Singh II, a noted astronomer.
