How many days should you workout?⬇️
This is a common question I get! To be honest I don’t think there’s any perfect amount for anyone but there is a general amount to aim for!
If you are training for an event like a bodybuilding show or a spartan race then yes, you will want to be in that gym 4-6 days per week hitting it hard so you can show up your very best, also these things have a deadline to get ready so more days will benefit you!
But if you are just a mom or dad with a sedentary job and just want to be generally fit, 3-4 days per week is enough! As long as you hit each muscle group throughout the week, get rest and recover, this can work for you!
Ultimately if I HAD to choose I’d say 4 days a week would be healthy and sustainable. Enough to get to your goal quickly, but not too much to cause you to burnout!
Lastly ensuring these workouts have good quality and are programmed based on your goals is key!
