Off the back of another successful project completed in 2020, Excel returned to the Falklands again for their 3rd deployment in 2022 to supply a bespoke environmental waste solution for their client. Having processed over 7000 tonnes of clean material while removing hazardous contaminants and moving 1500 tonnes of earth to protect from further contamination prior to shipping, its safe to say we had our hands full!
The team undertook this turn-key clearance project for the British Forces and Falklands Government in the area. The Falkland Islands aptly being known as the gateway to the Antarctic, brings with it an especially high standard to protect the local ecosystem during works given the unique wildlife in the island.
