Dochula Pass is a mountain pass located in the tiny Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. The pass is about 45 minutes drive from the capital city, Thimphu. The pass sits at an altitude of about 3100 meters (10,171 ft) above sea level and offers a panoramic view of Himalayan mountain range during clear skies. The area around the pass consists of beautiful Buddhist stupa, serene nature, basic meditation facilities, a temple and a cafeteria making it one of the favorite stopovers for travelers.
