When I first heard that my good friend Moniera was going to do the BC bike race my first reaction was good for you, my second was how amazing but my third was "lets film it"
So often the focus of these films is aimed at the front runners, the pro riders and not the hardcore group of people bringing up the rear of the pack, this , in my opinion is where the real hard work goes on and few get to see it.
It took a little time for Moniera to come around to the idea but I think at some point she got where I was coming from and what I wanted to portray by filming her seven day race on the beautiful Vancouver Island BC.
This film hopefully gives people hope, shows hard things can be done if you try but most of all it shows that we all need good people around us to bring out the best in them and in ourselves and with that anything can be achieved that was possibly thought of as impossible.
