About Mouflon...
Mouflon sheep are wild sheep (Ovis aries) and are thought to be one of the ancestors of all domesticated sheep. Previously, they had a broad wide range throughout Anatolia stretching through to the Greek Islands, but many of these populations are now listed as vulnerable by the World Conservation Union (IUCN). It is important to conserve pure-blooded Mouflon sheep so that future generations may enjoy them.
