(1/23/2026) After a bit of consideration, I elected to attend the Desert Days Conference for the YSA stakes in Arizona, held at the Rawhide Event Center. The first evening of the conference saw a concert which featured Avery Anna and Ben Rector.
Avery seems to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was born in 2004 and grew up in Flagstaff. Therefore, it's fascinating to see an aspiring musician who is younger than me making a name for herself.
Avery had several songs that she performed in her set, including some Church hymns and songs, and a cover of the late Ozzy Osbourne's No More Tears. While I wasn't able to record that song, I recorded Avery's last song of her set.
My next video will be from Ben Rector's portion of the concert.
