FG Trains Forest Guards to Secure Nigeria’s Forests from Terrorists

Описание: In a major move to tackle insecurity, the Federal Government has intensified efforts to reclaim Nigeria’s forests from the grip of terrorists, bandits, and other criminal elements through the launch of the National Forest Guard Initiative.

As part of this initiative, over 2,000 personnel from the North-East have just completed an intensive three-day training program in Gombe State, equipping them with the skills needed to monitor, secure, and protect forested areas across the region.

The initiative marks a bold step toward restoring security, environmental protection, and community safety, especially in areas previously exploited by criminal networks.
