I had an amazing time on my vascular surgery placement! I learned all about when things go wrong, and I got to learn from some brilliant doctors and surgeons to help patients get well. I learned about Aneurysms, Fistulas, Legs, Veins, and Carotids - it's definitely not as simple as the consultant made it out to be, but breaking it down made it so much easier to understand.
