In this video, we simulate the gasification of wood chips biomass in a steam-blown dual fluidized bed process using Aspen Plus. Gasification is the process of converting fuel into a combustible gas (syngas), and here we analyze how different parameters affect the outcome.
The sensitivity analysis is performed on key operating parameters, including:
Gasification temperature
Biomass moisture content
Steam-to-biomass ratio
Air-fuel ratio
Air and steam temperature
Results are plotted and validated against literature values, providing a reliable insight into process optimization.
