I wanted to share a bit of a teaser video from my most recent skillshare class on surface pattern design in Affinity Photo and Designer on the iPad. This video focuses on how to go about finding references and resources for your artwork and motif illustrations. I highlight some of my favorite types of resources both analog and digital including Pinterest. I also include a round up of my favorite books for surface pattern design inspiration. I have a BA with a focus in Fashion, Design & Production. I graduated from Benedictine University's MBA graduate program focused in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management in 2011.
