We’re back in Venice — but just for a quick weekend.
This time, our journey begins by driving from Milan to Venice, then seamlessly transitioning from car to train, and finally to the vaporetto, Venice’s iconic water bus. It’s one of those moments where travel slows down and the city begins to reveal itself.
After arriving, we explore our apartment, get our bearings, and head out to experience Venice at an easy, unhurried pace. From a relaxed dinner to wandering the canals, this visit is all about settling in rather than rushing through a checklist.
During the day, we climb the beautiful Scala Contarini del Bovolo, one of Venice’s most unique spiral staircases. The views from the top offer a stunning daytime perspective over Venice’s rooftops — a reminder of just how layered and timeless this city really is.
