The Alpine White M4 Competition is equipped with standard Sport seats, finished in Black Extended Merino leather, bi-color Style 825M wheels, extended Shadowline trim and the optional moonroof. The Brooklyn Grey Metallic M4 is a base model, feature the standard manual transmission, rear-wheel-drive and 473hp. On the inside, the Brooklyn Grey M4 is fitted with the optional Carbon Fiber bucket seats and trimmed in Full Kyalami Orange Merino leather. Full Leather means the dashboard and door panels are also covered in leather. The Toronto Red M3 Competition is fitted with Carbon Ceramic brakes, the Carbon Fiber bucket seats, and trimmed in Black Full Merino leather.

Both the Alpine White M4 Competition and Brooklyn Grey M4 feature standard brakes; the grey car with red brake calipers and the white car with blue brake calipers. For the first time, it is a no-cost option to choose between black, blue or red brake calipers.

BMW's M xDrive all-wheel-drive system comes to the M3 and M4 for the first time ever! Production on M xDrive variants of the G80 M3 and G82 M4 begins in July 2021. Deliveries are expected in October 2021 as 2022 model year vehicles. The M3 Touring with NOT be coming to the United States due to crash regulations and homologation standards.
