Kurtis, an Optimization Specialist at Koenig Equipment, explains how to use Quick Start and Fast Start, two features that enable planters to start planting more quickly from a stop position.
Quick Start turns on automatically every time the planter is lowered. It will start planting once the tractor starts driving which minimizes planting gaps.
Fast Start can be set up to begin planting for six seconds, even if the tractor is sitting still. That allows for planting while in the stop position and removes planting gaps.
