Men oh men, WHAT a crazy night! I slept in a traditional, primitive beehive in the rural area of Swaziland... No water, no shower, no "normal" toilet, no electricity. The beehive was COMPLETELY dark, that, when I opened my eyes in the middle of the night; I thought I was going blind. After a few hours of on-and-off sleep, a huge spider felt at home in the candle light we'd put on. Since it was fairly big and frightening, I had to face my fears and take the spider outside myself, while my dad was sleeping like a baby. Damn. What an adventure it was. In essence, I thought it was shocking to realize how spoilt we actually all are with having "easy" access to water, electricity, paved ways, bicycles, public transports and/or cars. It's so hard to put this into words or images, since that's always the case, and you will always think: "oh yes, that's so true and so sad..." But EXPERIENCING it in this way, brought a whole new perspective. I saw the true local life and, although they actually sounded content with their way of life, it's a vast reminder to be truly grateful with what I have. Or, that I'm a spoilt little brat who can't find relaxation in TRUE back to basics. FYI: circular living is a way of life here, not a hipster thing. In places like these, there's simply no other way. It's life.

Who am I?
I'm a 28-year-old content creator in the online business and I run my own Dutch online platform. I created my own job and this is the reason I can work anywhere in the world. This is a dream which has come true for me. I partly live in Amsterdam and partly all over the globe. On this channel I share my videos of my travels, my ideas & what inspires me.
