"Vaishnav Jan Toh..." is a short film written and directed by Kaushal Oza. It stars Suhasini Mulay and Jatin Goswami in the lead roles. Set in 1944, against the backdrop of Mahatma Gandhi's visit to a village, it is the story of a mother who faces a crisis and whose faith in Gandhi's message is put to test. In 2010, it was awarded the National Award for the Best Debut Director in the Short Film category. It has been awarded and screened at many film festivals around the world.
