Today in London along with my DUP colleagues I made a robust case for the U.K. Government to respect devolution, allow the Assembly to legislate on abortion and to halt their efforts to implement the most liberal abortion law in the whole of Europe!
Legislation that will allow for termination up to birth for having a disability such as Down Syndrome, that will allow for sex-selective abortion and allow abortion up to 12 weeks for any reason at all.
The fight continues! I will be making further representation on Monday to the Government on this life and death issue. Thank you to our Parliamentary Leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson MP for bringing this forward as an urgent question.
