Don't Pick the Wrong One (Grok Bot vs Muse vs Dots)

Grok Bot, Meta’s Muse, and OpenAI’s Dots all landed inside seven weeks. If you pick one of the headlines, you will most probably pick wrong. I run the business on 26 named agents. Two of these three are on my phone right now. This is what’s inside, what it costs, and what it will not do — scored as jobs and where the work already lives, not models. Dated early October 2026, because this stuff moves. Some of these doors have already moved since launch.
On the shared base they look the same. Cloud computer. Own browser. Keeps working after you close the app. Remembers you. Can stop and ask before it sends or spends. KinneyAI put it plainly: the public evidence does not establish an overall performance winner. Datacamp, on Dots’ launch day, could not find a single independent review. That gap is real. A smarter tab is still not a team.
Muse is one agent you name. App or WhatsApp. Free weekly cap, then $20 Power or $100 Maximum. Meta does not say how many Muse tokens a typical task uses, so you cannot work out in advance what $20 covers. Amazon has been blocking it since 20 September. I would wait on connecting the inbox that matters most.
Grok Bot is named seats you assign, not one chat. No subscription of its own. Cheapest door as of this recording is Cursor Pro at $20 a month. At launch that door was $200. It moved 26 August 2026. Check yours — doors have moved. All your bots share one computer. SpaceXAI’s own docs: do not use separate bots as a security boundary.
Dots runs on GPT-6 Astra and lives inside ChatGPT. Two days old as I made this. First Dot comes with ChatGPT Pro from $100 a month. The $20 Plus plan does not get a Dot. Teams of Dots is a promise on a roadmap. Today you get one. OpenAI has not published what Dots costs after month one. No outcomes guaranteed. Your leftover pile is not mine.
Google’s Gemini Spark is a real always-on agent. It is a separate comparison. I kept it out of this one.
The agent footsheet from this video — every price dated — and the 26 seats as lanes, not a dump of files, are in the AI Founders Vault, plus the community of founders who are still the last click. They run on Grok Bot, or Meta’s Muse, or Dots, and on an open-source harness such as Hermes. The link is down below.
Which of the three would you trust with your inbox first, and why? Drop it in the comments.
